Fernado de Noronha
The "highlight" of my trip in the northeast from Brazil was one week on the island Fernando-de-Noronha. It is 500km away from the mainland and is a National Parc, above the water and Underwater. The nature, the beaches and the underwater world is really great....
everything else NOT!!!! I never had experienced lame service, bad food and unfriendly people anywhere in Brazil except here. And to make it even worse everything is at least double the price than on the mainland.

BRASIL 4 weeks northeast: Bahia etc
I flew from Rio to Recife, rented a car and drove over 2000km south up to the marine national parc Abrolhos. I saw many nice beaches and saw the culture of this part of Brasil, which is influenced by African people, who came here mostly as slaves.
Many parts are poor and less develloped than the South of Brasil, but the friendliness and support of the people here is very charming. Soon I will post some pictures

Brasil
Brasil is my last stop at my round-the-world trip. I will spend the first 2 weeks in Rio then I am going to fly to the nordeast and see the places there
