Now I am visiting my second last country. Time is running, I am away from home 3 + 5 months now. I came back from Costa Rica and spent 2 days in Pasadena with my friends. Then I flew to Vancouver and stayed 2 days in this nice city. After that I traveled the sunshine coast north and took the ferry to vancouver island where I am now. The weather is not too good, much rain and temperatures between 14-20 degrees.
The (frightening) highlight at the sunshine coast was a meeting with a black bear. I did a hike and was alone in the forest, heard some noise and looked... and saw the bear probably 20 meters away. He/her was also looking at me, i took a picture, unfortunately it was blurry and stayed still and did nothing. The bear then went away. I had weak knees and was thinking what could have happened....
