hong kong

Continued my trip after some sad weeks in munich. To make the travel back to New Zealand not too exhausting I decided to stay a few nights in Hong Kong. This is a very crowded and busy city, exactly the opposite of NZ.
I felt safe the whole time because I got a prominent defender named Chackie Chan.

The skyline is impressing, the further buildings are offices, the closer ones appartments. The air is bad and mostly misty, too much pollution. There are not so many cars on the street and nearly no bikes, so I was surprised that the pollution is so visible.

At night, the same skyline looks better.

At 20 o´clock they are performing a skyscraper lightshow with music, the buildings are lighted accordingly to the music. Was quite nice, and this night I watched it from the correct side. From behind (above pics) you dont see anything.

The chinese people are famous for eating nearly everything. I went to a special wine shop and was offered to try a glass of snake-wine.... which I refused, unfortunately I´m not so brave ;-)
